Deputy director of the podcast ¿Por qué matamos? from production company True Crime Factory and scriptwriter of the program Crims. He’s a Doctor in Journalism from Ramon Llull University. He is also an associate lecturer in Journalism at the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication and International Relations. He is a contributor of the program La Tarda on Catalunya Ràdio as a specialist in crime, and of El Periódico, where he worked as a crime reporter between 2015 and 2024. Between 2008 and 2015 he was society editor at Agencia Catalana de Noticias (ACN). He has also collaborated in programs such as El Matí on Catalunya Ràdio and Planta Baixa on TVC. Sánchez is the author of the book El caso de los Maristas (Ara Llibres), which compiles the journalistic investigation he carried out at El Periódico and which uncovered in 2016 the pederasty scandal in the Marist Brothers' schools.
