Heidi Kim Andersen

Commissioner for shorts and documentaries at Danish Film Institute

Born 29/3 1971. Graduated from film and media studies at Copenhagen University in 2000.

Heidi Kim Andersen has worked with film and television production for more than 20 years. She worked as an editor, head of programme and director at the national broadcaster TV 2 among other things. Since 2016 she has produced a number of documentaries, including 'Q's Barbershop' (2019), which was selected for competition at CPH:DOX and won a Danish Bodil Award for best documentary, and 'My Mother Is Pink' (2017), which was also selected for competition at CPH:DOX and Sheffield DocFest.

In 2018 Kim Andersen began working as a producer and co-owner of the Danish production company Made in Copenhagen.
